Horizontal flags do not generally need a banner arm. Flagpoles,
which display these flags, can be equipped with a ball-bearing rotating
masthead and a vandal-proof, lockable door (patented), with a halyard inside
the flagpole. The rotating head allows the flag to remain unfurled in spite
of changing winds, and the vandal-proof, lockable door protects the flag
from being stolen, or the halyard from being cut. Standard models with
fixed mastheads and cleats for outer halyards are also available. |
